Halloween is one of our favorite times of year here at Spicy Vines — the season of cool nights, cozy pours, and just the right amount of mischief.
This year, we’re stirring up something special straight from the cauldron: a cocktail that’s equal parts spooky and spectacular — our famous Witch’s Brew, made with our award-winning Original Blend Spiced Wine.
Whether you’re hosting a Halloween bash, hanging with your coven, or simply want to sip something festive by candlelight, this brew is the ultimate way to toast to the season.
Why Original Blend is the Perfect Potion
Our Original Blend Spiced Wine is the heart of this cocktail — and for good reason.
Crafted from premium California red varietals like Zinfandel, Grenache, Carignane, and Cinsault, this wine is infused with a secret blend of spices, fruits, and spirits that deliver a naturally warm and aromatic finish.
Unlike mulled wines that require stovetop prep, our spiced wine is bottled ready to enjoy — rich, layered, and already spellbinding on its own. The warm notes of cinnamon, clove, and citrus make it the ideal base for seasonal cocktails (and, let’s be honest, late-night sipping).
If you’ve ever wondered what makes it “spiced,” think of it as the cozy essence of autumn in a glass — a handcrafted blend that captures the vibrancy of harvest season with a touch of rebellion.
Recipe Time: Our Witch’s Brew
Spooky Eyeballs (for garnish):
Mix lime juice and raspberry jam in a medium bowl.
Drain the lychees and soak them for about 1 hour in the mixture.
Stuff a blueberry into each lychee (they look eerily real!) and save the leftover syrup for the brew.
Witch’s Brew (the main potion):
Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl or, if you’re feeling dramatic, a black cauldron.
Float the eyeballs on top, add dry ice for a haunting effect, and serve chilled.
